INAUGURATION OF THE BULK WATER SUPPLY TO YOUNGSVILLE SUBDIVISION

The inauguration of the bulk water supply for Youngsville Subdivision happened last June 26, 2023.  The occasion was attended by the COWD Board and Management, the officers of South Balibago Resources, Inc., the Opol Municipal Mayor and LGU Officials, the Barangay Chairperson of Igpit and the Home Owners Association Presidents.

 

Last year, COWD conducted a public bidding for bulk water supply with South Balibago Resources, Inc. (SBRI) emerging as the winning bidder to deliver One Million Liters per day (1 MLD) of water to Youngsville Subdivision and the Pag-ibig Citihomes Subvision, also located in Opol.

 

COWD’s bulk water supplier SBRI sources its water from Iponan River.  Their facilities and water treatment plant are located at Bulao, Iponan.
