Like COWD, NOMWIC aims to promote water consciousness among the youth by hosting regional poster-making and oratorical contests. It likewise fosters camaraderie among water district personnel in Northern Mindanao and the Caraga Region through its quarterly meetings and annual forums. Problems and updates of the organization and involved water districts are given importance during these assemblies
